Background

The food combination here is what happens when you mash up a nostalgic love of Chinese market seafood and the authentic Louisiana crab boil.

Our chef, Kai, grew up in China, often at large family gatherings surrounded by food.  While in school he took a trip down South to Louisiana and experienced a traditional Southern crab boil, which he instantly fell in love with.

With years of practical food knowledge and hands-on cooking experience, he began experimenting with different recipes to create the crab boil he had grown to love, whilst putting his own twist on the recipe to pay homage to his Chinese roots.
